Like A Shrimp (Korean: 새우인 듯, RR: saeuin deut) is the twelfth episode of The S-Ranks That I Raised webtoon.
Yoohyun argues over Yerim's new position as Yoojin's bodyguard.
Summary[]
Having destroyed the tentacle monster Yoohyun turns to Yoojin and begins scolding him, telling him how worried he was when he heard about the dungeon break. Yoojin reassures him, pointing out the S-rank that protected him, Bak Yerim. Yerim looks on, awed, as Yoojin and Yoohyun discuss her potential as a bodyguard; Yoohyun balks at Yoojin's suggestion that he'll act as her guardian instead of her sponsor. Yerim asks Kim Sunghan for clarification, confused at the difference, and Sunghan obligingly explains that instead of simply being a financial backer, Yoojin is offering to act as her legal guardian, akin to a parent.

Both Yerim and Yoohyun are taken aback at how far Yoojin is willing to go, and he reminds them that with Yerim's uncle as malicious as he is, there's no reason for him to leave matters as is. Yoohyun continues to reject his proposal since he's worried about his low-rank brother possibly getting assaulted by his much higher-ranked ward, and suggests that he himself take Yoojin's place as Yerim's guardian. Yerim argues that she's well-behaved and won't hurt Yoojin, who had anyway promised to look after her. As the two argue, they start pulling at Yoojin- one to take him home, and one to make him stay- which results in his arm being badly wrenched. Frustrated, Yoojin orders Yoohyun to stop interfering with Yerim's matters and be happy that a new S-rank is coming to Haeyeon Guild, then sends him to help Kim Sunghan with clearing up the dungeon break.

When Yerim begins complaining about Yoohyun's behaviour, Yoojin scolds her too for misusing her strength, and helps her put on her ill-fitting shoes with some more strength-related mishaps. As they work, Yoojin answers her earlier question about why he'd go so far for her, explaining that he himself would have liked a reliable backer when his parents had passed. Yerim assures him he looks reliable, and he takes the chance to use his Caregiver keyword on her, to her embarrassed amusement. When they finish up, Yerim's uncle comes running up (much to Yoojin and Yerim's mutual disgust), asking if she's really Awakened and saying that Awakened people make a lot of money.[1]

Novel & webtoon differences[]
- Yoohyun meets Yerim outside of Haeyeon Guild as a fellow Hunter instead of as her new guild leader.[2]
- Instead of arguing over the guardian issue at the Haeyeon Guild building,[2][3] Yoohyun and Yerim instead argue about it at Myeongdong Station itself.
- Yoojin sustains an injury from Yerim and Yoohyun fighting over him, while in the novel, he got them to back off every time they were about to touch him and wasn't injured.[3]
- Yoojin uses the keyword on Yerim (and has Awakened her) before signing the contract. In the novel, he uses the keyword before having her sign and then Awakening her.[2]
- Yerim's uncle, seeks Yerim out after her Awakening, instead of Yoojin and Yerim going to him.[4]
