The Second S-Class Member (2) (Korean: 두 번째 S급, RR: du beonjjae eseu-geup) is the tenth episode of The S-Ranks That I Raised webtoon.
Han Yoojin tries to make Bak Yerim's uncle Bak Sungtae back off, only to be interrupted by a much larger problem.
Summary[]
Yoojin plays up the exaggerated fall he took from Bak Sungtae's hit, drawing the restaurant patrons' attention to him, pointing out that he seems rather violent even to strangers, let alone vulnerable family. When an aggravated Bak Sungtae seizes him by the collar, Yoojin trips him so that he falls face-first into their table; quickly excusing his actions and moving in as if to help him, Yoojin shoves Bak Sungtae's face close to the hot plate at the center of the table and threatens him, telling him never to come near Yerim again.

An unexpected dungeon break occurs
Midway through his threat, he's interrupted by a loud bang, followed by the ground quaking, and as the people around them dissolve into a panic, Kim Sunghan bursts through the door and informs Yoojin that a dungeon break has occurred. Yoojin and Yerim follow him back outside, where he orders them to run to safety while he takes care of the large monster that has emerged; a quick use of his Shield Of Earth skill allows him to create a tall defensive wall to hold it back temporarily, and he continues to fight it off, though his abilities mean he's unable to successfully stop it. While Yoojin follows him and frantically tries to remember if a dungeon break had occurred here before the regression, Yerim and her uncle are running for cover. When Yerim trips, her uncle abandons her and leaves. Right then, one of the monster's flailing limbs comes near the vulnerable Yerim and is about to strike her.

Yoojin comes back for Yerim
However, Yoojin puts himself between Yerim and the monster, holding off its attack with an improvised shield. Once its limb has retracted further away, he drags her to her feet and pulls her towards the evacuation shelters, ordering her to hide. He turns back himself, intending to go help Kim Sunghan by advising him on how to deal with the monster that he now remembers. Yerim stops him, wanting to follow and asking him to Awaken her, but Yoojin rejects her plea, telling her that she's a child and he refuses to make someone as young as her take on this large a battle, inexperienced and alone. He leaves her there and runs back to Kim Sunghan, asking him to use his Shield skill and telling him he has a plan to deal with the monster.[1]

Novel & webtoon differences[]
- In the novel, Yoojin only met with Bak Sungtae and threatened him to leave Yerim alone after she had already Awakened.[2]
- The Myeongdong dungeon break and resulting fight did not occur in the novel; Yoojin and Yerim signed a contract and Yerim was Awakened without interruptions.[3]
