Bak Yerim is a Hunter who was an A-rank before Han Yoojin's regression. In the new timeline, she was found and Awakened to rank S by Han Yoojin, who she then contracted with. She is currently a member of Haeyeon Guild.
Appearance[]
Bak Yerim has curly dark hair and blue eyes. Before she Awakened and had her appearance groomed by stylists, she went around in a scruffy tracksuit[1] and oversized sneakers.[2] After being professionally styled, she generally wears a short-sleeved (possibly sleeveless) t-shirt and activewear short shorts. She has a charming face and a natural look where it is difficult to tell if she's wearing makeup, and her hair is trimmed short, giving her an androgynous appearance similar to a young Greek god.[3]
Before the regression, as the Ice Witch, Bak Yerim had a cold, haughty, and good-looking appearance.[3]
Personality[]
Bak Yerim is a volatile and expressive person. She is generally upbeat, seeing the humor in things, and friendly, quickly becoming attached to people who are kind to her.[2] Though her S-rank nature makes her possessive of those she cares about, she is surprisingly polite to their friends and loved ones in turn. She especially loves being praised a great amount by people she looks up to and will nag them until they compliment her.[3] She is stubborn and impulsive,[4] and has a sharp tongue. She can be bratty, rude, and outright hostile towards people she is wary of,[5] but lightens to gentle teasing around people she is fond of. After her Awakening, her temperament has been slightly more aggressive, particularly around Han Yoohyun. Due to her young age, she is somewhat naive; she is embarrassed when this is pointed out, but listens easily to advice and improves quickly.[6] She is good at reading people and rather insightful, quickly able to identify "5 years of suffering" from Han Yoojin's expression alone after talking to him for only a few minutes.[5] When stressed, she has a habit of biting at her fingernails.[7]

Bak Yerim had the potential to Awaken to stat rank A~S. In the original timeline (pre-regression), she Awakened to rank A,[8] and in the new timeline (post-regression), she had an optimized Awakening to rank S.[5]
Upon Awakening as an S-rank, her Strength at level 1 was 61.[2]
At an unknown level (likely above level 1), Yerim's Mana stat is 102.[9]
Skills[]
- Shadowless Day (SS): An optimized initial skill.[5] A wide-range buff with a special effect, curse-like or magical in nature. Increases a designated stat by 30% and a designated attribute skill's effect by 20%. Upon disturbing and absorbing an opponent's shadow (by physically touching them herself or by hitting them with a projectile such as a stone or chunk of metal), the shadow can be swallowed and the opponent can be slowed down or stopped altogether. Additionally, depending on the size of the swallowed shadow, there is an additional buff. When this skill is used, the ground around her feet is dyed white, and nearby shadows stretch up to 2 to 3 times their original length.[10]
- Hermes' Sandals (S): An optimized initial skill.[5] Increases agility and allows the user to fly, as well as instant movement over short distances.[10]
- White Corpse (S): An optimized initial skill.[5] Allows the user to pull information from corpses,[10] as long as more than 66% of the corpse remains. Using this skill results in the user being surrounded by a chilly white firefly-like light.[7]
- Cold Sigh (A): An initial skill. Allows the user to freeze things physically and stop movement.[10] Using this skill results in a cold wind and fog forming; the chilliness and air volume can be adjusted at will, making it a useful skill for blowing away ashes or dust.[11] Similar and identical skills cannot be overlaid when this skill is used. Since this skill is more physical and Shadowless Day is more magical, however, they can be overlaid and used at the same time. This was also one of Bak Yerim's initial skills before the regression, when she was the Ice Witch.[10]
- Pale Rain (S): The pre-regression Ice Witch's trademark wide-range skill.[10] In the new timeline, this is Bak Yerim's level 10 skill, acquired with the assistance of Han Yoojin's My Brat Is The Best skill.[12]
- Other unacquired optimized skills: These skills were observed through the single skill growth focus option of Han Yoojin's My Brat Is The Best.[13]
- Frozen Earth (S): Effect currently unknown. Han Yoojin has a hunch that this would be better to obtain after getting Cold Resistance.
- Cold Resistance (A): A standard resistance skill, giving immunity against cold that is A-rank and below.
- Mana Up (B): Based on Han Yoojin's initial skills, this is likely a simple temporary Mana stat buff with few other effects.
- Other unacquired recommended skills: These skills were observed through Han Yoojin's My Brat Is The Best (L) single skill growth focus window.[13]
- Ice Attribute Reinforcement (A): Judging by the name, possibly a buff for any ice attribute skills.
- Flame Resistance (A): A standard resistance skill, giving immunity against flames that are A-rank and below.
- Mana Up (A): Likely a stronger version of Mana Up (B).
- Agility Up (A): Based on Han Yoojin's initial skills, this is likely a simple temporary Agility stat buff with few other effects.

Trivia[]
- Even before Awakening, she was extremely fast, being able to outrun a low-rank Awakened person with ease.[5]
- She likes gopchang (tripe) and spicy food, and sometimes speaks with her mouth full.[5][6]
- In the new post-regression timeline, she is the 8th Korean S-rank Hunter.[14]
- She is a rowdy sleeper, kicking off her blanket halfway, sprawling out, and sleeptalking.[15]
